The Pyre was a production of the Kymera Theatre Collective, written and directed by Archie Lamprell, and performed on the 6th & 7th June, 2019. 

 

As the sun rises on a small countryside village, the townsfolk are startled by the appearance of a street preaching friar. The arrival of this charismatic enigma begs one question; from blacksmiths to bakers, from lawyers to lords… What would it take for you to give up everything you own?
